Joplin, Missouri

I could sit here and type up every thing about the week I spent in Missouri. There is so much to cover that I don't even know where to begin. One word that comes to mind is devastation. If you went to see what the tornado did to the houses in Raleigh, multiply it my at least ten. The tornado was so strong that it rotated the hospital 4 inches off of its foundation. The funny thing is, is that the people in Joplin are happy. I never saw one person who wasn't grateful or giving. Here are just some pictures of the disaster in Missouri. (They don't do it justice).

Where we stayed:

The only thing left on the sign from Joplin High School was the O and P, so the high school added an H and E to make it say hope.

Where Country Comes Home

I might as well start off with the bad quality photos from my phone. These were on the General Jackson steam boat!

Happy Birthday CHUCK! hahah The guy on stage thought his name was Chuck! Woops!

One day we went hiking! It was so beautiful!

As Miranda Lambert sang "House That Built Me," everyone got out phones and lighters...it was so amazing!

I should just make an entirely different blog post for these pictures! We finally got to meet Izzy! (Isabella) She was so cute, and is a jumping bean!

This car was hand painted with all the branches of the military on each side!

Me and Katie at the celebrity softball game! We saw Scotty and Lauren, Dierks Bentley, Chuck Wicks, Vince Gill, Jake Owen, and so many more! It was such a cool experience and for a good cause! It supported an organization for cancer!

I had so much fun with my family! Love you all! :)
